Traveling to Magnetic Island is easy. The local bus can take you directly to the doorstep from Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal to our holiday home in less than (5) minutes. Daggoombah Holiday House has the best of both worlds; (10) minutes’ walk to Alma Bay the main swimming beach and a (5) minutes’ walk to Geoffrey Bay. Easy walking distance to local markets, theatre, restaurants & the Arcadia Village Hotel.
By Air

Airport Shuttle
Townsville airport is only 10-15 minutes to the CBD and the ferry and barge terminals. To book your airport shuttle bus from the airport to the Breakwater terminal (to Magnetic Island) call Townsville Shuttle Services

Magnetic Island is the perfect pit stop in tropical North Queensland, whether you’re doing a weekend getaway, a round Australia trek or anything in between. Just book yourself or your vehicle on either the passenger or vehicle ferry before you arrive.
By Ferry
Sealink Queensland is a passenger service that takes only (25) minutes to Magnetic Island. If you’re arriving by hire car or your own transport Magnetic Island Ferries is a (45) minute service that runs daily services regularly to Magnetic Island.
By Bus
Sunbus is the local operator servicing the island with a stop directly in front of the house.
